Donald Glover a.k.a Childish Gambino is all over the airwaves with his latest hit “Redbone,” but he doesn’t plan on being on the music scene much longer.

Glover recently performed at the Governor’s Ball Music Festival and at the end of his set said, “I’ll see you for the last Gambino album.” That had the crowd in shock as he is just hitting close to his peak in success.

Gambino is of course also a well established and award winning actor. While promoting his hit series “Atlanta” he spoke with the Huffington Post and said that continuing music wasn’t really necessary any more. “There’s nothing worst than like a third sequel, like a third movie and we’re like, ‘again?’” he said. “You know, I like it when something’s good and when it comes back there’s a reason to come back, there’s a reason to do that.”

Let’s hope he leaves us with a classic third album and maybe does a few features in the future.
