After all the backlash received about all the fun that was taken out of the NFL over the past few seasons, commissioner Roger Goodell and the league have decided to make a change.

The NFL released a statement yesterday saying, “we are relaxing our rules on celebrations to allow players more room to have fun after they make big plays.”

Celebrating on the ground, group celebrations and using the ball as a prop after a touchdown are a few of the antics that are back in play for this coming up season. Last season saw a sharp raise in celebration penalties, as well as criticism.

Another important group of rule changes takes care of the players “health and safety, including approving new rules prohibiting the “leaper” block attempt—a top priority from our players.”

Below are a few of the best football celebrations of all time.
