The remaining members of the Grammy-Award winning group TLC,  T-Boz and Chilli have turned to an online fundraiser site to raise money for their new album.

The group launched a campaign on KickStarter.com and raised over $180,000 in about four days, making them one of the sites most successful music campaigns to date.

Recording artist Katy Perry made a generous contribution of $5,000. In an interview with Yahoo Music, Chilli stated “We feel highly favored and blessed and loved, it makes us feel good that these people can believe in us and know that this can happen.”

If you would like to make pledges to the site you still can for the next 25 days.

A new TLC album should be released this summer but until then, you can catch the group on tour with New Kids on the Block this spring.
