NBA Bulls star Derrick Rose is most likely out for the 2013 NBA playoffs while trying to recover from an ACL injury he sustained last year in the 1st round of the NBA playoffs versus the Philadelphia 76ers. He had been rehabbing the injury for the last few months, but getting over the mental aspect of pressure on his leg has been a work in progress. The former league MVP and multiple time NBA All-Star ACL injury in his left leg had been the talk of the NBA season as other stars such as Kobe Bryant, Rajon Rondo have also went down with season ending injuries too. Chicago Bull’s coach Tom Thibedeau talked about D-Rose’s injury with reporters.
“He’s most likely out but you never know,” Thibodeau said. “The playoffs are stretched out, too, so you have to factor that in. So who knows another week from now where he is? You always want to leave that possibility open.”-Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau
The Chicago Bulls are the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference of the 2013 NBA playoffs and they are currently facing the 4th seed Brooklyn Nets, whom rapper Jay-Z was a minority owner before he relinquished his share in the team to pursue a sports agency company.
