Legendary actor and comedian John Witherspoon came by the Ed Lover Show! He talked with Ed about his long career in comedy and how started with a theatre group he was a part of in Detroit. He talks about his first few comedy gigs at old folk’s homes on Sunday afternoons, and recalls the first time he got paid. He talks also about what made him move to New York, then back to Detroit, and then finally, to L.A.


John also discusses the people he met upon his arrival in L.A., and the comedy gig he landed alongside David Letterman, which started their long friendship. Check out the exclusive video to hear more in this fascinating interview on the “Ed Lover Show.
