Nick Cannon came through to the Ed Lover Show and chatted about his hit show “Wild N’ Out,” which is on its eighth season and moving back to MTV after “conquering MTV 2.” He explains how the show has surpassed his wildest expectations for it since its beginnings as something he just had fun with.

Nick also talks about stand-up comedy as a place where he could be free, and how his stand-up set tends to shock people who are used to seeing him on Nickelodeon or in other more tame spaces. He brings with him producer and rapper It’s A Movie, who discusses his song “Snapchat,” and how it caught Nick Cannon’s artist eye. Plus, Nick hints at a new project he’s involved with at MTV that requires him to “step into [the] heritage” of Ed Lover himself.
