Celebrity Sightings in New York City - April 12, 2016

Kourtney Kardashian is tired of filming her life for the world to see.

The eldest of the krew went on record to say she’d be “so happy” if Keeping Up with the Kardashians ended – and her comment makes sense, as Kourtney and her sisters first hit the small screen back in ’07 and have taped 12 seasons since. We can only imagine how taxing filming has been over the years.

In an interview with You magazine, the reality star and doting mom confessed she’s torn: “I don’t want the show to end, but I sometimes think I would be so happy if it did, and I could just move away from it all,” she said. “By the end of every season I’ve had enough, but then once we have had a break I’m ready for more.”

And somehow, she still forgets she’s famous. “I still feel surprised when I’m recognized in the street,” the star insisted. “I forget that so many people know who I am and have seen me give birth.”

Speaking of her kids, Kourt would much rather spend time with them than with KUWTK producers. She also reveals co-parenting with baby daddy Scott Disick has been “really easy.”

“For me, the moment I relax is when I take off my makeup,’ Kourtney told the magazine. “That means I’m back in my mum role. We eat together — I don’t cook very often, we have someone who prepares our food — then it’s bath time and stories. We all snuggle together; first we read the baby books and then we move on to the other books. It’s so wonderful and peaceful.”

Momager Kris Jenner might not be too thrilled about Kourtney’s lack of enthusiasm for the family business, but you’ve got to love a great mom who just wants to chill with her kids.
